Programs Volunteer

WEL

WEL is seeking to a motivated and detail-oriented Programs Volunteer to support the effective implementation of programme activities within the Programs Department.

The volunteer will provide administrative, research, and programmatic support, contributing to the successful delivery of programme objectives. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in programme implementation, research, and community development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in research and data collection for programme activities and projects.
  • Support documentation and report writing for programme activities.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating programme meetings, workshops, and field activities.
  • Support data entry, analysis, and management using basic data management tools. Assist in the preparation of programme reports and presentations.
  • Provide administrative support within the Programmes Department as required.
  • Participate in program planning and review meetings where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to support research, data collection, and programme activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of data management tools.
  • Interest in gender, governance, and community development issues.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
