Mercy Mukeni is a seasoned policy advocacy,  human rights and gender specialist with over 18 years of experience in program design and management, stakeholder engagement, and coalition building. As the National Coordinator at Women's Empowerment Link (WEL) she has successfully led multi-stakeholder advocacy initiatives on women and girl’s rights, policy reforms, and human rights education.

Mercy serves as a Steering Committee Member of a global project tittled Power of Equality and is a facilitator of the East Africa Human Rights Training Program (EAHRP).

With extensive experience managing donor-funded projects, Mercy ensures compliance with financial, legal, and monitoring frameworks while fostering strong partnerships with government agencies, CSOs, and grassroots organizations. Passionate about gender equality and social justice,
