WEL in Partnership with Stay Alliance German Foundation  

WEL has partnered with the Stay Alliance German Foundation to strengthen the capacity of emerging social entrepreneurs working in the income, health, and education sectors, with the goal of enhancing their sustainability. Established in 2018, the Forum for Social Entrepreneurs is the first of its kind in the region.

The initiative aims to maximize the impact of social entrepreneurs’ work by improving income/health/education-related knowledge and behaviors, expanding access to services, and contributing to poverty alleviation. Through this partnership, the Alliance has recruited and supported more than 160 social entrepreneurs, 65% of whom are women. The Alliance platform has addressed 3,000 requests for sustainable business strategies and market intelligence information.
